Hi all, just a quick note to say that changes to the website will be getting underway shortly. Dave Bryant (pictured) and I are in talks with the web operator we use to get the website functioning as a major component of the club and something we are all proud of. In the mean time if anybody has any pictures/videos relating to the club or it's members please send them to me (Butsy) at butterworthw@cardiff.ac.uk. All contributions welcome. |

| WELCOME FRESHERS |
A big welcome to all freshers from the football club. To those of you interested in football don't allow yourselves to be dragged into squalour of the IMG and join the official Cardiff University Football Club.
We have the best facilities, best nights out and an alcoholic coach called Dean. With 5 teams we cater for all standards so make sure you come and join in.
To sign up come to the freshers fair in the Great Hall of the Students Union on Friday the 26th of September between 10am and 4pm. |

| ROBERT OWEN SACKED AS MEDIA SEC. |
"I wont go without a fight" were the words out of the little man's mouth as he was dragged from the communications hub of Cardiff Uni Football Club. This is perhaps slightly ironic as for the most part, Rob has been fighting against doing any work for the club this past year. Pictured with his tasty sister here all seems well but reports of a turbulent friendship with Mr S. Saunders have been regarded by many as a key factor in his recent demise.
In a statement read by his solicetor Owen made the following claims:
"I'll come back next year for the old boys game and if I'm not allowed I don't care. Thanks for the free kit. I'm gonna smash up the restaurant proper bad, yeah....United, United, United..... Steve doesn't bully me either, we're BFF."
Owen will be replaced by William Butterworth with immediate effect. Butterworth has declined to comment on this story. |
